To elaborate a project of this kind, it is fundamental to recur to an exhaustive study for the structure. Very important is the detailed analysis on the terrain and the impact/pressure that people will provoke when the pool is full of people and water. The higher pressure areas must be located and reinforeced or modified. As for the desing, this depends on many factors (hotel classification; purpose of pool; number of people; hotel design; etc...).
